Working Principle of Heat Pipe Solar Collector
1. Evacuated tube collector, a part of solar hot water heater, is usually mounted on a roof and has a row of glass tubes.
2. A copper heat pipe, which is hollow with the space inside evacuated, is installed within the tube.
3. The pipe can transmit heat to its tip which is plugged into the collector's heat transfer manifold. Then heat is transferred from the copper heat pipe to the water when water runs through the manifold.
Features:
1. The heat pipe can heat water rapidly.
2. No water in the vacuum tube, one tube broken will not influence the whole system working
3. With a pleasing appearance, it is compatible with the architecture or integrated with existing pipeline.
4. It is extensively used for water heating and underfloor heating.
